When your plan's usage limit is reached, you choose how Confide responds — no surprises either way.
Capped Mode
When you hit your limit, the feature pauses until your next billing cycle. Zero surprise charges — ever. Great for churches with a fixed monthly budget.
Overage Mode
Usage continues beyond your limit at the per-unit rates listed below. Ideal when an unexpected need arises — like a livestream going longer than planned — and stopping mid-stream isn't an option.
You can switch between modes any time from your account settings. The default is Capped.
Simple, Transparent Giving
No platform fee. No markups. Just the standard Stripe processing rate — identical on every plan.

Zero platform fee
Confide charges no additional fee on donations. You pay only Stripe's standard processing rate — nothing more. That's $1 more per $100 staying in your church compared to platforms that add a 1% platform cut on top.
Let donors cover the fees
With "Cover the Fees" enabled, donors can optionally add the processing fee to their gift — so your church receives 100% of every intended donation.
Fees reflect standard Stripe rates: 2.9% + $0.30 per card transaction; 0.8% (capped at $5.00) per ACH debit. Confide adds no platform markup. Rates apply equally on every plan.

The examples show typical costs for churches of similar sizes with common feature combinations. Your actual pricing depends on your plan, usage patterns, and any optional add-ons you choose. We can help you estimate the right fit, but member count does not change your base subscription price.
Are there any setup fees?
No setup fees, no contracts, and no hidden charges. We include data migration, training, and setup assistance in all plans because we want you to succeed.
Can I change plans as we grow?
Absolutely! Confide is designed to grow with your church. You can upgrade or add features anytime, and we'll help you transition smoothly. You can start with a small plan and add features as you grow.
How do security features work?

What about very large churches?
For churches over 1,000 members or organizations that need dedicated onboarding, custom SLAs, or more specialized support, we offer enterprise options. Multi-campus churches can typically use our standard Multi-Campus Mode add-on, and we'll tell you clearly if your needs go beyond that.
How does this compare to free alternatives?

What if we go over our SMS limit?
By default your SMS usage stops at your plan limit — no surprise charges. If your church needs uninterrupted messaging, you can enable Overage Mode and pay a flat per-message rate ($0.02/msg) for anything above your included allocation. You choose the model that fits your budget.
What happens to our data if we cancel?
You own your data completely. We provide full data export in standard formats and give you 90 days to download everything. No data hostage situations - your church information belongs to you.
